Practicing my faces

I tried to add a little color to my sketches.  I don't think I should have used my girls' colored pencils and used better quality.  I tried to color a warm glow in one of them, but it turned out more like some sort of injury.

Making Doll Art With Danita

I follow Danita on Facebook.  She is going to be teaching an online class on doll making.   I have always admired the luminescent eyes on her paintings and dolls.  Now she is going to show us how achieves this look..  I know my dolls won't look like hers exactly but I don't want that.  It took her years probably to achieve that look, but I think it would be fun to see what I come up with using her technique.

Anyways, the truth is she is giving away the class for free for one lucky person, but you have to advertise a bit for her.  I am willing to do that for a chance to win.

More Sketches

I have been feeling very lethargic and lazy lately.  Everyone but me was hit hard with the flu the past few weeks.  I have been feeling run down, but that could be from numerous things.  The picture below is how I felt inside.  The picture scares my little girl, Audrey.  I think it is kind of funny myself.
